How Long Does Drug Addiction Treatment Usually Last?

Treatment is all relative to the individual receiving treatment. Treatment should be tailored to you. Typically, however, inpatient treatment lasts between 30 and 90 days. “Studies have shown that it takes about 30 days to break the habit of addiction and regain firm footing in sobriety.”

“The more time you can commit to this first stage of recovery, the better.”

Depending on the length and severity of your addiction, is how long you will typically be with us at Pinnacle Recovery. Although most clients spend 30-90 with us, we want you to take the time you need to recover fully. You decide the right amount of time for your treatment. We don’t want to push you.

Dealing with dropping out of treatment

Unfortunately, drop-out rates for addiction treatment is high. At Pinnacle Recovery, we aim to keep you involved by providing you with a plethora of activities. Among the many things we offer are individual therapy, group or family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Keeping you engaged and motivated with our programs is one of our top priorities.

If you aren’t ready for inpatient treatment, we have other options

We realize that inpatient treatment may be a bit intense for some people. It also is something you must commit to for 100 percent of your time. Instead of employing just one treatment option, we aim to reach as many people as possible with our programs. This is why we offer outpatient addiction rehab programs. Our outpatient treatment program allows you to manipulate your schedule while also being in a more structured environment. Our outpatient programs allow you to come in for treatment sessions during the week, while you are able to attend work or school and go home at night. Our outpatient program usually lasts a few days a week for a few hours. If you are not able to commit to an inpatient program with us just yet, our outpatient program may be a good fit for you.

Here at Pinnacle Recovery, we want you to have the freedom to dictate parts of your recovery. This usually includes allowing you to determine if you need to stay longer than the 30-90 days. We want to help you reach sobriety, no matter your schedule. We aim to help you cope with daily stressors whether you are in our inpatient or outpatient treatment program. Reach out to Pinnacle Recovery today to learn more about our addiction recovery programs at 1-866-301-0573.
