Inpatient Versus Outpatient Services

Once you decide that you need treatment, it can be hard to decide exactly which treatment is right for you. Luckily, Pinnacle Recovery offers a multitude of services. Below are some characteristics of inpatient and outpatient treatment.

Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient, or residential treatment, is characterized by the patient living on the premises of where they are receiving treatment, while they are receiving treatment. 24/7 care is provided for the patient during inpatient treatment. At Pinnacle Recovery, we offer services that allow our patients to be “substance-free in a supportive environment while [you] adjust to sobriety and work on [your] independent living skills.” Pinnacle Recovery offers inpatient treatment for a length of 30 to 90 days. Although some people stay longer with us, this is the typical length of a patient’s stay. We believe that it takes 30 days to break a habit or addiction, which is why we recommend staying for at least 30 days. Included in inpatient recovery is a structured schedule and consistent care. It gives you a break from your normal life, where you have formed the habit to use a substance. By being away from your normal environment, we believe that you will be able to reach sobriety and stay sober, all while bettering your path to recovery.

Outpatient Treatment

For some people, inpatient treatment may be too rigid to fit into their schedule. They may not be able to completely take time away from their job, school, or family life. Outpatient treatment is less time-consuming, but still offers care that gives you an exceptional chance at recovery. Outpatient treatment is part-time, and usually occurs for a few hours a day during a few days of the week. Pinnacle Recovery’s outpatient recovery offers you the ability to adjust your normal routine while giving you “high-quality, structured treatment.” We offer the same type of treatment that is available for our inpatient treatment programs, but on a less intense level.

Regardless of the treatment you choose to participate in, you must make your recovery the most important thing in your life. Pinnacle Recovery has so many options for treatment. We have programs that are right for you. You can expect exceptional treatment, no matter the program you choose. We want to match up your needs with the care we offer. Call us today at 1-866-301-0573 for more information about our inpatient and outpatient services. We cannot wait to hear from you.
